Prepare to indulge in a symphony of flavors as you dive into these nachos. We start with 1 pound of ground beef, which is seasoned and cooked to perfection with a finely diced onion, adding a delightful savory depth. For an extra kick, we've included a fresh jalapeno pepper, sliced to give your taste buds a tantalizing treat.

The base of our nachos is a generous layer of 16 ounces of refried beans, ensuring a creamy, rich consistency that perfectly complements the crispy tortilla chips. And let's not forget about the cheese – 2 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese are layered throughout, creating a gooey, melty goodness that's the star of the show.

To assemble this culinary masterpiece, simply arrange your tortilla chips on a microwave-safe platter, spread the beans over them, and then layer on the cheese, ground beef mixture, and jalapeno slices. Pop it in the microwave on medium-high until the cheese is all melty and dreamy.
