Ingredients

  • 16 oz rotini pasta uncooked
  • cups roasted chicken cubed cooked
  • cup celery thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup spring onion chopped
  • 12 oz snow peas fresh trimmed halved
  • cups grapes green red seedless halved
  • oz dole pineapple tidbits unsweetened drained canned
  • cup slivered almonds toasted
  • leaves lettuce 
  • cup salad dressing 
  • tablespoons ginger fresh finely chopped
  • teaspoon garlic salt 
  • tablespoons liquid smoke 
  • tablespoons soya sauce 
  • tablespoons honey

Directions

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package.
  2. Drain; rinse with cold water to cool.
  3. Drain well.
  4. Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix remaining salad ingredients except almonds and lettuce. In small bowl, mix dressing ingredients.
  5. Add pasta and 1/2 cup of the almonds to salad; stir gently to mix.
  6. Add dressing; toss to coat. Line serving bowl or platter with lettuce. Spoon salad over lettuce.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining almonds.
