  • 19 ounce cannellini beans beans white drained canned
  •  garlic cloves crushed
  •  lemon wedges 
  • 10.5 ounce low-salt chicken broth canned
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • teaspoon oregano dried
  • teaspoons parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • tablespoons pepper sauce hot
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • cups spinach leaves chopped
  • 16 ounce tomato purée canned
  • 1.5 cups tubetti tubular-shaped cooked uncooked ()
  • cups water

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Add onion; saut 3 minutes.
  3. Add garlic; saut 1 minute.
  4. Add water and next 6 ingredients (water through broth). Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes.
  5. Add spinach and beans; cook 3 minutes. Stir in pepper sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges, and garnish with fresh oregano sprigs, if desired.
