Ingredients

  • lb pizza dough homemade store-bought for 3 pizzas
  • cups pasta sauce 
  • oz mozzarella cheese shredded
  • teaspoon oregano dried
  • oz pepperoni sliced

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • oven

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F. Divide pizza dough into 8 pieces.
  2. Roll out each into 16x12-inch rectangle.
  3. To make each stromboli, spread thin layer of pasta sauce over dough rectangle.
  4. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and oregano. Top with pepperoni. Fold in sides; roll up dough jelly-roll fashion.
  5. Place seam down on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cut stromboli into slices to serve.
