  • 0.5 cup milk 1% low-fat
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese shredded extra-sharp reduced-fat
  • 1.5 teaspoons lower-sodium soy sauce 
  • teaspoons olive oil 
  • 1.3 cups onion vertically sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon onion powder 
  •  orange bell pepper cut into strips
  • 12 ounces pizza dough fresh refrigerated
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Place a pizza stone or heavy baking sheet in oven. Preheat oven to 500 (keep stone or baking sheet in oven).
  2. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sprinkle steak with 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Coat pan with cooking spray.
  4. Add steak to pan; cook 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  5. Remove from pan; let stand 5 minutes.
  6. Cut steak across the grain into very thin slices.
  7. While steak cooks, place dough in a medium microwave-safe bowl coated with cooking spray. Cover and microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) for 45 seconds.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes.
  9. Roll dough into a 14-inch circle on a floured surface; pierce liberally with a fork. Carefully remove pizza stone from oven, and sprinkle with cornmeal. Arrange dough on pizza stone.
  10. Bake at 500 for 10 minutes or until browned and crisp.
  11. While crust bakes, return skillet to medium-high heat.
  12. Add oil; swirl to coat.
  13. Add onion and bell peppers; saut 3 minutes.
  14. Add garlic; saut 2 minutes.
  15. Add steak; saut 30 seconds or until thoroughly heated.
  16. Remove from heat; stir in remaining 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and soy sauce. Arrange steak mixture over crust.
  17. Combine milk and flour in a 4-cup glass measuring cup; stir with a whisk until smooth. Microwave at HIGH 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in cheese and remaining ingredients.
  18. Drizzle cheese mixture over pizza.
  19. Cut into 8 wedges.
