  • pound pink-eyed peas fresh

  • tablespoon butter 
  •  garlic cloves minced
  •  jalapeno minced seeded
  • 0.5 cup onion finely chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon paprika smoked spanish
  • cups vegetable broth organic (such as Swanson Certified )
