Ingredients

  • ounce mushrooms drained sliced canned
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • medium size bell pepper green chopped
  • medium onion halved sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 15 ounce pizza sauce canned
  • teaspoons salt 
  • ounces mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1.5 pounds fat-trimmed beef flank steak cut into bite-size pieces
  • ounce basil-garlic tomato sauce canned
  • tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients. Dredge steak in flour mixture.
  2. Brown steak, in batches, in hot oil in a large skillet over high heat 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove steak from skillet, and place in a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  4. Saut sliced onion, chopped bell pepper, and mushrooms in skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until tender.
  5. Add pizza and tomato sauces, and simmer 15 minutes; pour over steak.
  6. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese; bake 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
