Ingredients

  • 12 ounces sausage meat 
  • 0.5 cup chives fresh chopped
  • tablespoon sesame oil 
  • 0.5 cup plum sauce chinese
  • 1.3 pounds mushroom caps stemmed

Directions

  1. Place shiitake mushrooms stem side up on large rimmed baking sheet. Mound each with about 1/2 tablespoon pork sausage. Stir plum sauce in heavy small saucepan over medium heat until melted.
  2. Whisk in oil.
  3. Brush mushrooms with all of plum sauce mixture. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover; refrigerate.)
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  5. Bake mushrooms until sausage is cooked through, about 15 minutes.
  6. Transfer to large platter.
  7. Sprinkle with chives.
