  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin 
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 16 ounce pork loin cutlets 
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoon sugar 
  • teaspoon vegetable oil 
  • pound vidalia sweet thinly sliced
  • 0.3 cup water

Directions

  1. Combine paprika, cumin, pepper, and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
  2. Sprinkle evenly over pork.
  3. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat.
  4. Add onion, sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt; cook 5 minutes or until browned.
  5. Remove from pan, and keep warm.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-high; add 1 teaspoon oil.
  7. Add pork, and cook 1 minute. Turn pork, and add onion to pan.
  8. Add water, and cook 3 minutes or until pork is done.
  9. NOTE: If wafer-thin pork cutlets are not available, pound cutlets to 1/4-inch thickness.
