  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • 0.3 cup butter 
  • 10 ounce pkt spinach frozen thawed drained chopped
  • tablespoons green onions chopped
  • large potatoes cubed peeled
  • teaspoons salt 
  • cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • cup cup heavy whipping cream sour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  3. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
  4. Drain and mash.
  5. In a large bowl combine mashed potatoes, spinach, sour cream, butter, green onions, salt and pepper. Spoon into prepared dish.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes. Top with cheese and bake 5 minutes longer.
