  • 1.5 cups beef broth fat-free reduced-sodium
  • Tbsp butter 
  • Tbsp grey poupon dijon mustard 
  • Tbsp flour 
  • cups mushrooms mixed fresh sliced (baby bella, shiitake, oyster)
  • 0.3 tsp ground sage 
  • 0.3 tsp kosher salt 
  • 0.3 cup marsala wine 
  • 0.5 tsp coarse pepper black divided
  • lb beef prime rib roast 
  • 0.3 tsp thyme leaves dried

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325F.
  2. Place meat in shallow pan; sprinkle with 1/4 tsp. pepper and salt.
  3. Bake 2 to 2-1/2 hours or until internal temperature of meat reaches 145F.
  4. Let stand 10 min. (Temperature will rise to 160F).
  5. Meanwhile, melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.
  6. Add mushrooms; cook and stir 3 min. Stir in flour, mustard, herbs and remaining pepper. Gradually stir in broth and wine; cook and stir on medium heat 4 min. or until thickened.
  7. Serve meat with sauce.
