Ingredients

  • servings barbecue sauce to taste
  • lb roasted boneless
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar packed
  • tablespoon cayenne pepper 
  • 0.3 cup chili powder 
  • teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 0.3 cup ground cumin 
  • olive oil 
  • teaspoon onion powder 
  • 0.5 cup paprika 
  • 0.3 cup pepper 
  • 0.3 cup salt 
  •  sandwich buns

Directions

  1. Dry Rub
  2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl; blend well. Store in airtight container. Makes 1 3/4 cups.
  3. Rub surface of pork with Dry Rub
  4. Mix to taste reserving the rest for another use.
  5. Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet; brown pork on all sides.
  6. Place the pork in a lightly greased roasting pan.
  7. Bake at 325 for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, or until very tender. When done, use 2 forks to shred meat.
  8. Add barbecue sauce to taste and serve on buns.
