  •  garlic clove peeled
  • 0.5 pound green beans trimmed
  • teaspoons salt 
  • teaspoons sugar 
  • cup water 
  • cup citrus champagne vinegar

Directions

  1. Combine dill and green beans in a medium bowl.
  2. Combine vinegar and the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, and cook 1 minute or until sugar and salt dissolve.
  3. Pour over bean mixture.
  4. Let stand 2 hours.
  5. Drain or serve with a slotted spoon.
