Ingredients

  • 0.8 cup canadian bacon chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • cup rice instant uncooked
  • 1.3 cups onion chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • 10.8 ounce all natural tomato soup reduced-sodium reduced-fat canned
  • teaspoons vegetable oil 
  • 1.5 cups water

Directions

  1. Coat a medium saucepan with cooking spray; add oil.
  2. Place over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Add onion and Canadian bacon; saute 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
  4. Stir in soup and water. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add rice and remaining ingredients. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
