  • 0.1 teaspoon cinnamon 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cardamom 
  • pinch kosher salt 
  • tablespoons orange juice fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon orange zest 
  • 0.3 cup pecans toasted chopped
  • 0.3 cup greek yogurt plain low-fat
  • 1.3 lbs delicious apples red cored unpeeled cut into small chunks

Directions

  1. Combine apples, zest, juice, cardamom, cinnamon, and salt in a food processor and whirl until smoothly pured, 3 to 5 minutes, scraping down sides of bowl if necessary. (Bits of peel will be visible.)
  2. Divide among 4 bowls. Top each serving with a dollop of yogurt and some pecans.
