  • 10 servings pepper black to taste
  • 19 ounce garbanzo beans canned
  • clove garlic chopped
  • tablespoons juice of lemon 
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoons tahini

Directions

  1. In a blender, chop the garlic.
  2. Pour garbanzo beans into blender, reserving about a tablespoon for garnish.
  3. Place lemon juice, tahini, chopped garlic and salt in blender. Blend until creamy and well mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a medium serving bowl.
  5. Sprinkle with pepper and pour olive oil over the top.
  6. Garnish with reserved garbanzo beans.
