  • 32 ounce kidney beans red drained and rinsed canned

  •  garlic cloves minced
  • 2.5 cups bell pepper green chopped ( 2 medium)
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • cups onion chopped ( 1 large)
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 1.3 cups rice long-grain uncooked
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cup water

  1. Prepare rice according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Set aside and keep warm.
