Ingredients

  • 29 ounce tomatoes diced canned
  • cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup bell pepper green chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper black
  • teaspoon penzey's southwest seasoning italian
  • pound ground beef lean
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  •  onion chopped
  • 12 ounces pasta like spaghetti 
  • ounce tomato paste canned
  • cup water

Directions

  1. In a large skillet cook ground beef.
  2. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a separate pan saute the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper in olive oil until tender.
  4. Add the cooked ground beef, tomatoes, water, Italian seasoning, and ground black pepper.
  5. Add salt, if desire. Simmer for an hour.
  6. As simmering time nears, in a large pot cook spaghetti until al dente.
  7. Drain.
  8. In a large bowl, toss drained spaghetti with tomato paste.
  9. Add cooked sauce; mix well.
  10. Serve warm.
