Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • 0.5 cup cranberries dried
  • 2.3 cups apples i use 2 granny smith apples thinly sliced
  • teaspoons olive oil 
  • 0.3 cup pecans toasted chopped
  • 1.5 pounds cabbage red thinly sliced
  • 0.3 cup rice vinegar 
  • 0.8 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup sugar 
  • tablespoons citrus champagne vinegar

Directions

  1. Combine cabbage and cranberries in a large bowl.
  2. Combine vinegar and next 5 ingredients (vinegar through pepper), stirring with a whisk; drizzle over cabbage mixture, tossing gently to coat. Cover and chill 2 hours.
  3. Add apple, and toss well to combine.
  4. Sprinkle with pecans.
