  • ounce tomato sauce canned
  • 2.5 teaspoons chili powder 
  • 0.5 teaspoon basil dried
  • teaspoon parsley dried
  • cloves garlic minced
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cumin 
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground pepper black
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • teaspoon onion minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 0.3 cup salsa 
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • 1.5 cups water

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and saute for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add the onion, oregano, chili powder, basil, ground black pepper, salt, cumin, parsley, salsa and tomato sauce.
  4. Mix together and then stir in the water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
