  • 15 ounce navy beans rinsed drained canned
  • tablespoon cilantro leaves fresh chopped
  •  garlic cloves chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground coriander 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cumin 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper red
  • 0.3 cup juice of lemon fresh
  • servings garnishes: lettuce toasted chopped
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • 0.5 cup roasted bell peppers red drained chopped
  • 0.8 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup tahini

Directions

  1. Process first 9 ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. With processor running, pour oil through food chute in a slow, steady stream; process until smooth. Stir in cilantro; chill 1 hour.
  2. Garnish, if desired.
  3. Serve with tortilla or pita chips
