  • 0.3 cup catsup 
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • pinch pepper 
  • 0.3 cup red wine 
  • tablespoon citrus champagne vinegar 
  • pinch salt 
  • small shallots finely chopped
  • tablespoon soya sauce

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper; set aside.In a skillet, over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil, shallot, and garlic clove for 1 minute.
  2. Add the wine and simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Whisk in the ketchup mixture.
  5. Serve with steak.
