Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup apple cider vinegar 
  • slices bacon 
  • servings pepper black freshly ground
  •  bosc pear red
  • oz goat cheese (goat)
  • cups the salad mixed
  • tablespoon maple syrup 
  • tablespoons maple syrup 
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • 0.5 cup pecans toasted chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425F.
  2. Place rack on cookie sheet.
  3. In small bowl, beat vinaigrette ingredients with whisk until well blended; set aside.
  4. Cut pears in half; remove core. Stuff each pear half with heaping tablespoon cheese. Wrap 1 bacon slice around each pear half.
  5. Brush pears with 1 tablespoon maple syrup; sprinkle with pepper.
  6. Place on rack on cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until bacon is cooked.
  8. On each salad plate, place 1 1/3 cups of salad greens.
  9. Drizzle each with vinaigrette; sprinkle with pecans.
  10. Place 1 pear half on top of each.
