Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme leaves fresh chopped
  • large garlic bulbs 
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • servings salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cut off pointed end of 5 large garlic bulbs.
  2. Place garlic bulbs on a piece of aluminum foil, and drizzle with 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Fold foil to seal.
  3. Bake at 400 for 1 hour. Squeeze pulp from garlic into a small bowl. Stir in 2 Tbsp. olive oil, 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh thyme, and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve with toasted bread slices, if desired.
