  • Dash five-spice powder 
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • teaspoon ginger fresh grated peeled
  • tablespoon garlic minced
  • tablespoons honey 
  • 1.3 pounds pork tenderloin trimmed
  • teaspoons olive oil divided
  • cups grapes red seedless coarsely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup shallots chopped
  • tablespoons soya sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 45
  2. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add shallots and garlic; saut 3 minutes or until tender.
  4. Add grapes and next 4 ingredients (grapes through five-spice powder). Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
  5. Place grape mixture in a blender; process until smooth.
  6. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper.
  8. Add pork to pan; cook 5 minutes, browning on all sides. Insert meat thermometer into thickest portion of pork.
  9. Bake pork at 450 for 12 minutes or until thermometer registers 15
  10. Tent with foil; let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
  11. Serve with sauce.
