  •  avocado peeled cut into chunks
  • 0.3 cup cilantro leaves loosely packed chopped
  •  garlic clove peeled
  •  jalapeños fresh halved seeded
  • tablespoon at least lime juice 
  • 0.5 teaspoon at least salt 
  •  tomatillo skinless
  • 0.5 medium onion white peeled

Directions

  1. In a large, unoiled frying pan over medium heat, pan-roast the Jalapeos, onion, garlic, and tomatillo on all sides, 20 to 25 minutes total.
  2. In a blender, whirl the vegetables with 1/4 cup water until blended but still chunky.
  3. Add avocado and lime juice; pulse until blended.
