  • cup cup heavy whipping cream chilled
  • 0.8 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • cups root beer chilled (see note)
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • cup plus (clear)
  • 0.3 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
