Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup wine dry red
  • 1.5 pounds flank steak 
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • servings onion red
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon rosemary dried fresh chopped

Equipment

  • aluminum foil
  • ziploc bags

Directions

  1. Trim fat from steak.
  2. Combine wine and next 5 ingredients (wine through garlic) in large zip-top plastic bag.
  3. Add steak to bag; seal. Marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  4. Prepare grill.
  5. Remove from bag; discard marinade.
  6. Place steak on a grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  7. Place on a platter; cover with foil.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes.
  9. Cut diagonally across grain into thin slices.
  10. Serve with Red Onion-Garlic Marmalade.
  11. Garnish with lavender sprigs, if desired.
