Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup butter 
  • cups carrots peeled chopped
  • 10 ounce chicken broth canned
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • medium rutabaga peeled chopped
  • teaspoon salt 
  •  onion sweet peeled quartered

  2. Add carrots and onion; continue boiling 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  3. Drain and place into food processor fitted with metal blade.
  4. Add remaining ingredients; process until smooth.
  5. Serve immediately.
