Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 0.3 cup wine dry white
  • pound salmon fillet 
  • 0.3 cup soya sauce 

Equipment

  • broiler pan

Directions

  1. Remove and discard skin from fish.
  2. Cut fish into 4 serving pieces.
  3. Mix soy sauce, wine, brown sugar and ginger in shallow glass or plastic dish.
  4. Add fish; turn several times to coat. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour, turning once.
  5. Set oven control to broil. Spray broiler-pan rack with cooking spray.
  6. Remove fish from marinade; reserve marinade.
  7. Place fish on rack in broiler pan.
  8. Brush with marinade. Broil with tops about 4 inches from heat 5 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Discard any remaining marinade.
