Ingredients

  • 16 ounce berries mixed frozen
  • cup wine dry red
  •  cranberry-orange relish thinly sliced
  • slices orange sections 
  • 0.7 cup orange juice fresh ( 3 oranges)
  • 0.3 cup sugar 
  • cup water

  • sieve

Directions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and chill 8 hours.
  2. Remove orange; discard. Press berry mixture through a sieve over a bowl; discard solids.
  3. Combine berry mixture, juice, and sugar in an 8-inch dish, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cover and freeze 45 minutes. Stir berry mixture with a fork every 45 minutes until completely frozen and slushy (about 4 hours).
  4. Remove berry mixture from freezer; scrape mixture with a fork until fluffy.
  5. Garnish with orange slices.
