  • cup milk 
  • teaspoon mustard prepared
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • ounce sharp cheddar cheese shredded divided
  • slices bread white

Directions

  1. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink.
  2. Drain well.
  3. Arrange bread slices in a lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle sausage over bread.
  5. Sprinkle half of cheese over sausage.
  6. Whisk together eggs and next 3 ingredients.
  7. Pour over cheese.
  8. Sprinkle with ham; top with remaining cheese. Cover and chill 8 hours.
  9. Bake casserole at 350 for 45 minutes.
