Ingredients

  • cups bagged baby spinach leaves 
  • tablespoon bottled garlic minced
  • tablespoon bottled ginger minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • 1.5 teaspoons brown sugar dark
  • tablespoon sesame oil dark
  •  green onions light cut into 1-inch pieces (white and green parts only)
  • tablespoons lower-sodium soy sauce 
  • pound pre stir-fry meat boneless (such as flank or sirloin steak)
  • tablespoon sesame seed 

Equipment

  • bowl
  • frying pan
  • wok

Directions

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Heat a wok or skillet over high heat.
  3. Add oil to pan; swirl to coat.
  4. Add half of beef to pan, and cook for 3 minutes or until browned.
  5. Remove beef from pan. Repeat procedure with remaining beef.
  6. Add onions; cook for 1 minute.
  7. Add soy sauce mixture; cook 1 minute. Return beef to pan; cook 1 minute. Stir in spinach, and cook 30 seconds. Top with sesame seeds.
