  • 0.8 cup green onion chopped
  • cups quick-cooking grits 
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1.3 pounds shrimp deveined uncooked peeled
  • slices bacon thick-cut
  • 0.3 cup butter unsalted
  • cups water

Directions
