  • 0.3 cup butter melted
  • sprigs parsley fresh
  • teaspoons garlic minced
  • teaspoons ground pepper black
  • cup half-and-half 
  • slices optional: lemon for garnish
  • tablespoons onion diced
  • tablespoons parmesan cheese grated
  • 12 ounce linguine pasta 
  • 40 small shrimp deveined peeled

Directions

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until al dente; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan.
  3. Saute onion and garlic over medium heat until tender.
  4. Add shrimp; saute over high heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in half-and-half. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
  5. Place pasta in a serving dish, and cover with shrimp sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with black pepper and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
