  • 0.3 teaspoon chili powder 
  • cups curly leaf lettuce 
  • tablespoons breadcrumbs dry
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.3 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • 0.3 cup catsup 
  • 1.5 teaspoons juice of lemon fresh
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • 0.5 cup onion red thinly sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • pound shrimp deveined peeled
  • 20 inch portugese rolls split
  • 0.5 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Prepare broiler.
  2. Line a baking sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Combine breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and garlic in a medium bowl, stirring with a fork.
  4. Combine oil and shrimp; toss well.
  5. Place half of the shrimp in the breadcrumb mixture; toss well to coat.
  6. Place breaded shrimp in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Repeat procedure with remaining shrimp and breadcrumb mixture. Broil 4 minutes or until shrimp are done.
  7. Combine ketchup, juice, Worcestershire, chili powder, and hot sauce in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk.
  8. Spread 2 tablespoons ketchup mixture over cut sides of each roll half.
  9. Place 1 cup lettuce over bottom half of each roll; top with 1/4 cup onion. Arrange 1 cup shrimp on each roll half; top with remaining roll half.
  10. Cut sandwiches in half.
