Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • ounces fettuccine barilla refrigerated
  • 0.3 cup basil fresh divided chopped
  •  garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 0.3 cup heavy whipping cream 
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • 1.3 cups lower-sodium marinara sauce 
  • tablespoon olive oil divided
  • 12 ounces shrimp deveined peeled
  • servings creamed spinach and mushrooms 
  • 0.3 cup vodka

Directions

  1. Cook pasta per directions.
  2. Drain.
  3. Heat 1 1/2 teaspoons oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add shrimp; saut for 4 minutes or until done.
  5. Remove shrimp from pan.
  6. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons oil and garlic to pan; saut 1 minute. Carefully add vodka; cook 1 minute.
  7. Add marinara, 1/4 cup basil, cream, salt, and pepper; bring to a simmer. Stir in pasta and shrimp.
  8. Sprinkle with remaining basil.
