  • 10.5 ounce beef broth canned
  • servings rice hot cooked
  • 0.3 cup cornstarch divided
  •  garlic clove pressed
  •  bell pepper green sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • medium onion sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoons sesame oil 
  • tablespoons soya sauce 
  • pound beef top sirloin steaks boneless cut into thin slices
  • tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Whisk together 2 tablespoons cornstarch, ginger, beef broth, soy sauce, and, if desired, red pepper; set aside.
  2. Combine remaining 2 tablespoons cornstarch, salt, and pepper; dredge steak in mixture.
  3. Heat vegetable oil and sesame oil in a large skillet over high heat 3 minutes; add steak and garlic, and saute 4 minutes or until browned.
  4. Add bell pepper and onion; saute 8 minutes or until tender. Stir in broth mixture; reduce heat, and simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened.
  5. Serve over hot cooked rice.
