This simple skillet lasagna is a quick and easy weeknight dinner that's perfect for feeding a crowd. It's made with classic lasagna flavors but prepared in a single pan for a more convenient and fuss-free approach. The result is a hearty, comforting dish that's sure to impress.

This recipe starts by browning Italian sausage, which adds a savory depth of flavor to the dish. Onion, garlic, and pepper flakes are then sautéed to create a flavorful base, before oregano, tomatoes, and basil are added for a fresh and aromatic touch. No-boil lasagna noodles are used for convenience, making this a truly effortless dish. The noodles are submerged in the sauce and layered with ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, creating a creamy and indulgent texture.

Baking the lasagna in the oven ensures that the cheese melts to perfection, creating a golden and bubbly top. The final touch is a garnish of fresh basil, adding a pop of color and a burst of herbal freshness. This simple skillet lasagna is perfect for busy weeknights when you want a delicious, comforting meal without the hassle of traditional lasagna preparation.
