  • 0.5 cup chicken broth fat-free reduced-sodium
  • lb green beans trimmed cut into 1-1/2-inch lengths
  • slices oscar mayer lower sodium bacon finely chopped
  • large onion chopped
  • 0.3 tsp pepper 
  • 0.5 lb plum tomatoes chopped

Directions

  1. Cook and stir bacon in large skillet on medium heat until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon, reserving drippings in skillet.
  3. Drain bacon.
  4. Add onions to drippings; cook and stir until crisp-tender.
  5. Add beans, broth and pepper; stir. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 40 min.
  6. Stir in tomatoes; cook on medium-high heat 3 min. or until heated through. Top with bacon.
