  • 10 ounce condensed beef broth canned
  • 0.5 cup firmly brown sugar packed
  • slices dill pickle 
  • 3.5 pound eye-of-round roast cut in half vertically
  •  garlic cloves pressed
  • teaspoon coarse ground pepper 
  • cup catsup 
  • 0.5 cup juice of lemon 
  • teaspoons salt divided
  • 12  sandwich buns 
  • tablespoons steak sauce 
  • teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Sprinkle beef evenly with 1 teaspoon salt.
  2. Stir together remaining 1 teaspoon salt, garlic, and next 7 ingredients.
  3. Pour half of mixture into a 5 1/2-quart slow cooker.
  4. Place beef in slow cooker, and pour remaining mixture over beef.
  5. Cover and cook on HIGH 7 hours.
  6. Shred beef in slow cooker with two forks.
  7. Serve in rolls or buns with dill pickle slices.
