  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • oz baby carrots 
  • 3.4 oz mushroom caps fresh sliced
  • 14.5 oz canned tomatoes diced organic undrained canned
  • 10.5 oz beef broth canned
  • 0.5 cup flour all-purpose
  • tablespoon worcestershire sauce 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon sugar 
  • teaspoon marjoram dried
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • lb stew meat cut into 1/2-inch pieces

Directions

  1. In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients except beef.
  2. Add beef.
  3. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours. Stir well before serving. Note: This recipe was tested in slow cookers with heating elements in the side and bottom of the cooker, not in cookers that stand only on a heated base. For slow cookers with just a heated base, follow the manufacturer’s directions for layering ingredients and choosing a temperature.
