  • 1.5 pounds round steak boneless
  • cup onion coarsely chopped
  • 12 oz savory vegetable mixed frozen thawed
  • 29 ounces canned tomatoes diced with green chilies, undrained canned
  • 15 oz black beans rinsed drained canned
  • 15 oz kidney beans dark red rinsed drained canned
  • 1.3 ounces chili seasoning 
  • cups water 
  • ounces cheddar cheese shredded
  • tablespoons cilantro leaves fresh chopped

Directions

  1. Spray 12-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
  2. Cut beef into 1/2-inch cubes. Cook beef and onion in skillet over medium-high heat 7 to 9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
  3. Mix beef mixture and remaining ingredients except cheese and cilantro in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 7 to 9 hours. Top individual servings with cheese and cilantro.
