Ingredients

  • 1.5 pound pork loin roast boneless
  • tablespoons cornstarch 
  • 0.5 cup 1/4 cup dried cranberry (juice sweetened if possible) 
  • teaspoon mustard dry
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cloves 
  • servings salt to taste
  • tablespoons water cold
  • 0.3 cup sugar white
  • 16 ounce jellied cranberry sauce canned

Directions

  1. Place pork roast in a slow cooker. Mash cranberry sauce in a bowl; stir in sugar, cranberry juice, mustard, cloves, and salt.
  2. Pour cranberry mixture over pork roast.
  3. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
  4. Transfer roast to a plate; cover and keep warm.
  5. Skim fat from cranberry mixture in slow cooker. Measure 2 cups of cranberry mixture, adding water if necessary.
  6. Pour into saucepan and bring to a boil.
  7. Whisk cold water with cornstarch until pasty; pour into cranberry mixture. Cook and stir until thickened, 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Serve alongside pork.
