  • pound round steak boneless
  • pound potatoes - remove skin red cut into 1/4-inch slices (4 cups)
  • cup celery stalks chopped
  • cup carrots chopped
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • tablespoon beef bouillon granules 
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 64 ounces beef broth flavored
  • ounces mushrooms undrained sliced
  • 0.5 cup water 
  • 0.5 cup flour all-purpose

Directions

  1. Cut beef into 1x1/4-inch pieces.
  2. Mix beef and remaining ingredients except water and flour in 5-quart slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours.
  4. Mix water and flour in small bowl; gradually stir into soup until blended. Increase heat setting to High. Cover and cook about 30 minutes or until slightly thickened.
