Ingredients

  • 1.3 pounds chicken thighs boneless skinless cut into 1-inch pieces
  • cup carrots diced ( 2 medium)
  • 0.5 cup onion finely chopped (1 medium)
  • 0.5 cup olives pitted ripe halved
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 32 ounces chicken broth 
  • 14.5 ounces canned tomatoes diced italian-style undrained canned
  • 0.5 cup shells uncooked

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients except pasta in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in pasta. Increase heat setting to High. Cover and cook 20 to 30 minutes or until pasta is tender.
