  • 1.5 cups carrots sliced
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • cup water 
  • teaspoons sugar 
  • teaspoon seasoning italian
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 28 ounces tomatoes diced undrained canned
  • 15 oz garbanzo beans rinsed drained canned
  • ounces canned tomatoes italian-style canned
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1.5 cups green beans frozen thawed (from 12 oz bag)
  • 3.5 ounces elbow macaroni uncooked
  • ounces parmesan shredded

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients except green beans, macaroni and cheese in 3- to 4-quart slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours.
  3. Stir in green beans and macaroni. Increase heat setting to High. Cover and cook about 20 minutes or until beans and macaroni are tender.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese.
