  • large jalapeno finely chopped
  • 10 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • tablespoons chili powder 
  • tablespoons vegetable oil 
  • tablespoons juice of lime 
  • teaspoons salt 
  • 2.5 pounds chicken thighs boneless skinless
  • 4.8 ounces purchased corn tostada shells (10 shells)
  • cup lettuce shredded
  • ounces cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.8 cup salsa thick
  • 0.3 cup cream sour

Directions

  1. Mix jalapeño chili, garlic, chili powder, oil, lime juice and salt in 3- to 4-
  2. quart slow cooker.
  3. Add chicken; coat with oil mixture.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
  5. Remove chicken from cooker; place on cutting board. Shred chicken,
  6. using 2 forks. Return chicken to cooker and mix well. Using slotted
  7. spoon to remove chicken mixture from cooker, place 1/3 cup chicken
  8. mixture on each tostada shell. Top with lettuce, cheese, salsa and sour
  9. cream.
