  • small onion sliced
  • pound round steak boneless trimmed of fat cut into serving-size servings
  • 0.9 ounce brown gravy mix 
  • 12 ounces vegetable juice canned
  • medium stalks celery cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 16 ounces extra wide egg noodles frozen home-style

Directions

  1. Place onions in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Arrange beef on
  2. onions, overlapping to fit if needed.
  3. Sprinkle gravy mix (dry) over beef.
  4. Pour vegetable juice over all.
  5. Place celery on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
  7. About 15 minutes before serving, cook noodles as directed on
  8. package.
  9. Serve sauce, vegetables and beef over noodles.
