  • large baking potatoes cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • large rum peeled cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • medium carrots sliced
  • medium parsnips sliced
  • medium onion chopped
  • lb andouille smoked sliced
  • 14.5 oz chicken broth ready-to-serve canned
  • 14.5 oz canned tomatoes italian with garlic and herbs, undrained canned
  • teaspoons sugar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme leaves dried
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.3 cup parsley fresh chopped
